It has tucked in next to Cerequio and Brunate, the Sarmassa vineyard is blessed with optimal South, South-West exposure; the nebbiolo from this site produces an excellent Barolo – classically styled with the tell-tale aromatics of the zone: mint, truffles, and berried fruit. The vines are both michet and lampia clones of 35 years of age, with a small parcel of 5 year old vines already online.
