Light ruby red — typical of the variety. Light fruit flavors on the nose, reminiscent of raspberries. Sometimes hints of dried oranges, chocolate, fennel, thyme and Mediterranean spice shrub. Velvety on the palate, full-bodied with fine berry fruit and a piquant, fine finish.
